Our oldst son just graduatd last summr and is now a phlbotmnst.....a lab guy who takes blood. he rode a bus fr 2 hrs to scool and 2 hrs from scool and had a job at th locl grosry store tthat he walkd to. Now, he was born wth clubbd feet wth complcashns. thay wr bakwrds too. so tthay had to be totly re-bilt. he has had 4 majr surjrys on them. and will have anothr. but this one wil imoblize tth ankl. he has less thn 30% cartlag in his ankls and th srjry is a must have. but hes puttng it off as long as posibl. hes 26. I bring ths up cos walkng is tuff for him. but yuo wdnt no it. and he walkd to wrrk.
NOW, he has a job tthat he lovs. wrrks in an envirmnt he lovs. he dosnt go 'to wrrk' evry day. if yuo do wht yuo love, tthats th magic isnt it! I'v told my kids tths, as othrs have. if yuo do wht yuo love, yuo wil not 'go to wrrk'. make yuor educashn years cownt. milk thm fr all thayr wrrth. be greedy. during ttht time, think of yuorslf. ths is whn yuo get to do wtevr yuo want.

We oftn are hit by things tthat seem like a forevr-thing. tragdy, loss, pain. But the truth is. It Will Pass.
I lost my dad in '99. The pain i feel tday is as bad as it was then. tthe GILT i felt is NOT as bad. so see, it came to pass.
We have tragedy. My cancer dx was tthat same year. I ignord it for 9mnths. not smart. the battl was extreem. but heer i am. the hard part came to pass. I have stupd crap now tthat i deel wth and that same goldn thred helps me. I no it will pass.

God is not confined. He has many names. He sent His Son to th most civilizd part of th wrrld at tthat time. did yuo notis tthat? he didnt send him to america wher the natives lived, or china, or tibet. it was civiln sosiety, who tthot thay had all the ansrs tthat neededd an atitude ajustmnt, it seems, if yuo take wht th bible ses to hart.
and I just find tthat intresting. cos millions of peepl wake up, and imedtly hit ther nees. or walk owtside, and begin to pray.

Door #1 or Door #2. By now we have  all seen the guy who refusd both sayng he didnt buy a sexual assult with his ticket. AND if yuo HAD missed thihs littl nugget of 'in yuor fase', this lady was patted down TWISE.....

Ok so my son sed the scanner is prefrable to him cos he dosnt want anybody tuching him. that wod be my chois too.
Now I no the effrts are to minmize terorism and maxmize safety. so whethr yuo agree or disagree is up for debate! pleez comment! The folowing is purely abowt humor and is not intended to anger anbdy, 'speshly my son's futur pilot....if this had ben an actul insult I wod be waring a fez hat and pointng alot and riting all in caps. 3. OR eet a good ole bowl of french onion soop and a crock of beens on th side. and pipe a diffrent tune.

Aw evn th most dysfnctnl famlys have ther holiday momnts, I think. when I evn THINK the wrrd 'dysfnctnl'(evn tho i cant spell it, see ystrdays blog) i think of my own fam growing up. crazy drinkng way too mcch at evry singl famly get-tgethr, while i was th sunday scool teecher....so yeh THAT mixd welll.....and NOW? BAHAHAHAHA thay all go to chrrch now all settld in.....while I do not step foot in a 'chrrch'. dont get me rong, I'm safe wth my God. but it has indeed come full-cyrcl! lol

ther is a blessed memry. It was , in hindsite, to be th last christmas I was a 'kid'. The last christmas we, me my mom and my littl brothr, wod be th 3 musketeers. my mom askd me wt my christmas wish was. and I told her it was a ring. I wantd a silvr and turquos ring from my mom. what littl girl asks that??? lol but I despratly wantd it. My siwy iwiot brothr wantd a tape playr, yuo no, 1 of thos cool 80s 'boom boxes' tthat also recorded tapes.

christmas morning, we got em! my ring was perfct. we proseeded th day in 3 musketeer retard style. mom put on elvis blue christmas and we all sang it in tw's(my brothr) boom box, recording. mom sang elvis and we wer th back up singrs.
tthen we TRYD like a THOWSND times to sing 'oh come al ye fathfl' and codnt get past the 'OOOOOOHHHH ' cos of how my mom sang it. we eruptd into a fit of giggls and tto ths day i dont thnk any of us can sing ttht song.
we had anothr fam tradishn that ws born of not havng food whn i ws yunger but became sch a cool tradishn, chek it owt. owr 'christmas dinner' was ALWAS hot dogs. chips an dip. on paper plates. no dishs. my mom ws too bisy playing. we went thru alot of shit bak then. but tthru evrthing she tot me to PLAY. make ttht priorty. and i do. well anywa, so tw drags his boom box onto tth table and we ar all crunchng owr chips as lowd as we can twards th mic. and tw is comentatng, like a sports annownser.
